Watco hires two new executives

Watco Companies hired Nate Henderson as director of operations for the Central Region for its Terminal and Port Services division.

He will be responsible for managing operating efficiencies, customer service, profitability and insuring the success of terminal goals and objectives within the geographical scope, including terminals in Stroud, Okla., Oklahoma City, Okla., Pittsburg, Kan., St. Louis, Mo., Rockford, Ill., and La Crosse, Wis.

Prior to joining the Watco Team, Henderson was the director of business development for Savage Services and held various positions in operations, marketing and sales at OmniTrax, Inc.

Watco Western Australia Rail (WWAR) hired Ken Potts as vice president projects. Potts’ focus will be on taking WWAR rail haulage and rail maintenance projects forward from initiation through hand-off to its WWAR Operations Group. He will also assist WWAR Business Development and Commercial Teams in identifying and signing new business.

For the past nine years Potts has focused Aurizon, QRN Bulk and Australia Rail Group efforts in business growth. He has performed senior roles in operations, sales and marketing and has also acted as ARG’s Group general manager.
