John Hong, PE, Joins HNTB as Construction Project Director

LOS ANGELES – HNTB Corporation announces John Hong, PE, has joined as construction project director in the Los Angeles office.

The position of construction project director works to support regional projects for the firm which includes California High-Speed Rail’s Construction Package 4. John Hong brings with him 30 years of experience in construction management. Previously, he worked with the California Department of Transportation as a senior construction engineer. Hong also worked for Caltrans as an instructor where he taught construction procedures and standards.

For Hong’s educational background, he holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from California State Polytechnic University – Pomona. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of California and holds various awards, including Caltrans Superior Accomplishment, Caltrans Success-in-Motion, Project of the Year award and Resident Engineer of the Year.
