PITTSBURGH - Koppers Holdings Inc. has elected Laura Posadas as director of the company, increasing its Board of Directors to nine members.

According to the release, Posadas currently serves as CEO of Canlak Coatings Inc., a manufacturer of high-quality wood coating systems and brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles. Due to her experience in the specialty chemicals industry, Posadas has “a proven ability to drive innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth.”

Along with holding a degree in chemistry from the University of Delaware, Posadas serves on the Board of Directors of Coqual, a “global think tank” that advises companies on “how they work and lead,” says Koppers.
