WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) has appointed Curtis Bilow as its new chairman of its Board of Directors.

Curtis Bilow was named chairman at the end of the NRC annual conference that was held in Hollywood, Florida on January 10, 2026. Bilow currently serves as Executive Vice President at Ames Construction, where he joined in 2005 as a project engineer. In his current role, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership and corporate oversight to Ames partners. He also holds a BS in Construction Management from Ferris State University.
Bilow said, “I want to thank outgoing Chairman Joe Daloisio for his leadership and significant impact during his term. He has left the NRC well-positioned for what comes next. . . As chairman of NRC, I see this moment as both a responsibility and an opportunity. Our industry has the talent, experience, an ingenuity to meet what’s ahead, but only if we are willing to adapt, collaborate, and hold ourselves to higher standards than ever before. Change is already underway, and more is coming. The NRC intends to be at the forefront of that change to help our members to not just respond, but to also lead.”
