Full Pacific Surfliner Service Set to Resume Through San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. Daily Pacific Surfliner service through San Clemente will resume starting Monday, July 17.
Service is able to resume next week because of the construction of a wall that’s 12-foot high and 250-long. Piles for the wall have been driven 32 feet into the ground. The wall stands between the slide area and the tracks.
San Clemente, plus several areas along the southern California coast, have been plagued with washouts, mudslides, and track instability for months.
