The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) announced several projects taking place over President’s Day Weekend, between Friday, Feb. 18 and Tuesday, Feb. 22.

These initiatives reflect the Authority’s broader modernization efforts, including the Culver Line Signal Modernization Project on the F line in Brooklyn, which will improve the reliability and resiliency of subway service in the borough.

Once completed, this work will ultimately provide the MTA with the ability to more seamlessly reroute service at times when unplanned disruptions arise or when planned service changes for construction or maintenance are in effect.
