Zephyr Rail Awarded Contract for Engineering and Design Services

ORANGE, Calif. - Zephyr Rail was awarded a contract by LOSSAN to provide preliminary engineering and design services for the Ortega Siding project.
The project, located in Carpinteria, California, will “help increase track capacity to support the growing demand for passenger rail service and improve reliability along the LOSSAN Corridor,” according to the LinkedIn post. Zephyr Rail‘s role includes providing UAV mapping services, civil and track design, as well as project management.
CEO Jackie Patterson said, “We are honored to support LOSSAN in this important initiative. . . Expanding capacity and improving infrastructure will make a real impact on rail service in the region.”
