PATERSON, N.J. - Jack Tobin, P.E. will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Railroad Construction Company, Inc.
Effective June 15, Jack Tobin steps into the role of CEO at Railroad Construction Company, Inc. as the company celebrates 100 years. The previous CEO, Al Daloisio, Jr., has served as the company’s CEO for more than four decades. With the appointment of Tobin, Daloisio, Jr. will move into the CEO Emeritus role and continue to serve as Chairman of the Board.
Tobin’s appointment is the first non-family member to lead the company in its history. Since the co-worker-owned company (ESOP) was established in 1926, it has seen several generations of Daloisio family leadership. In a release from RCC, the company states Tobin is a “respected leader with decades of industry experience and a deep understanding of RCC’s culture and values.”
As the company moves toward the future, RCC says Tobin’s “leadership, experience and commitment to RCC’s culture and values make him the ideal person to help guide the company into its next century.” Since his joining the company, Tobin has worked to grow the company’s operations in the rail and heavy civil construction industries.
