Wisconsin TEA grants to fund two rail projects

The city of Fond du Lac, Wis., is being awarded a Transportation Economic Assistance (TEA) grant. The $600,000-award represents the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDot) contribution toward rail improvements to serve McNeilus Steel’s expanding facility in Fond du Lac.

NS opens Crescent Corridor terminal in Pennsylvania

Norfolk Southern opened its third Crescent Corridor intermodal facility, a $97-million terminal in South Central Pennsylvania that advances the company’s multi-state rail infrastructure initiative connecting the Southeast and the Northeast.

NYS&W receives state funds for rail terminal

The New York Susquehanna & Western Railroad Corporation (NYS&W) has received contract approval for more than $900,000 in funding for design and construction of a multimodal rail terminal in Cortland as part of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Regional Council initiative.
