CN says rail traffic controllers in Canada ratify new collective agreement
Written by jroodCanadian National says that members of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference-Rail Canada Traffic Controllers have ratified a new collective agreement covering approximately 210 train dispatchers in Canada.
The three-year contract, retroactive to January 1, 2012, provides wage increases along with standard benefit improvements to the TCRC-RCTC members at CN.
Keith Creel, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, said, “CN welcomes ratification of this new collective agreement by the TCRC-RCTC. This agreement, reached without third-party assistance, demonstrates the strong working relationship we have developed with the TCRC.”
