A Norfolk Southern train derailed Friday morning in Warren County, Va.

Norfolk Southern and its contractors worked through the day to assess the derailment site and begin work to clear the area. It was determined only 14 rail cars left the track, along with 5 locomotives. There were no injuries to the crew.

As of 6:00 p.m. local time on Friday, seven of the 14 cars had been cleared. Work continued throughout the night to clear the remaining cars and begin repair work to the track.

All of the work was complete, and the track was reopened on Saturday.
