OmniTRAX names SC2 as its Supplier of the Year

SC2 Services, Inc., a provider of fabrication, industrial finishing and manufacturing support solutions, has been named Supplier of the Year by OmniTRAX, Inc.
OmniTRAX explains that SC2, which is based in Peoria, Ill., and has locations throughout Illinois and in Waco, Texas, provides its Arrows Up affiliate with a wide variety of solutions. SC2 was selected by the OmniTRAX Supplier Council and Procurement Team members based on the company’s strong performance deliverables in safety, project completion, on time shipments and superb communication/response.
“SC2 provided consistent, high-quality metal product solutions for the Arrows Up Manufacturing Division, meeting our demanding standards while developing new innovative production processes unique to the Arrows Up product line,” said Robert Snyder, senior director of Procurement at OmniTRAX. “SC2 exceeded our deliverables requirements with an emphasis on safety, technology and customer service.”
OmniTRAX selects the Supplier of Year based on a scorecard system and careful consideration by the company’s Supplier Council, which is made up of six managers from different departments including the procurement division. Suppliers are evaluated in six categories, including Safety Performance, Value Engineering, On Time/Early Project Completion, Workmanship Quality and new Technology/Innovation.
SC2 scored a 92 out of 100 points on the Supplier Scorecard, making the company the top performer and receiving the full support of the Supplier Council as a result its metrics in a wide variety of measurement categories.
“Our entire team is extremely proud to receive this honor from OmniTRAX. The relationship between the two companies has been built on a mutual vision and mutual respect, and SC2 is committed to continuing to build on that bond,” said Kevin McGinty, president and CEO of SC2.
SC2 will be presented with a crystal trophy Aug. 28 at the OmniTRAX Annual Golf Tournament, which is taking place at Omni Interlocken Golf Club in Broomfield, Colo.
This is the third year OmniTRAX has recognized a Supplier of the Year with previous awards going to Bridgewell Resources LLC and A&K Railroad Materials Inc.
