R.J. Corman Railroad Company/Pennsylvania Line Soliciting Sealed Bids

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. – R.J. Corman Railroad Company/Pennsylvania Line has sent out a notice for soliciting sealed bids for rail, cross tie, and switch tie replacements as well as grade crossing refurbishments.

A notice has been sent out from R.J. Corman Railroad Company/Pennsylvania Line. It is “soliciting sealed bids for replacing 14,675 linear feet of rail, replacing 15,110 cross ties, replacing 500 switch ties, and refurbishing 5 at grade crossings having a combined length of 296 track feet on the railroad main line, Cresson Branch in and around the counties of Clearfield and Cambria in PA as part of a Pennsylvania Rail Transportation Assistance Program.”

For bids, specifications for this project are available here. The deadline to submit sealed bids is July 28, 2023 at 3pm EDT, and they must be received at 1588 Leestown Road, Suite 130-313, Lexington, KY 40511.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference on July 20th at 8am EDT at 650 Corman Way, Clearfield, PA, 16830.

Bids “will be opened and read aloud at 4pm EDT at 133 Buchanan Street, Bldg. 4, Lexington, KY, 40508. Bidders are invited to attend or may join a virtual call.”
