IntegriCo Composites, Inc., manufacturer of recycled plastic railroad ties, received a $1.5 million purchase order from a United States transit authority.

The transit authority placed an initial order for IntegriCo’s composite ties in August 2012

IntegriCo’s Vice President of Operations Ken Webber, said, “We are very pleased with the selection of IntegriCo’s composite ties by this U.S. transit authority. Our customer’s confidence in IntegriCo’s ties provides further evidence we are meeting our customer’s high expectations. This contract win follows the recent three-year, multi-million dollar Army Corps of Engineer’s award, demonstrating again our successful track record of delivery and support. We are proud our environmentally-friendly railroad ties are becoming widely recognized as the finest and lowest-cost recycled plastic railroad ties in the market.”
