OCTA Gives San Clemente Update; Crews Place Riprap to Protect Line

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service will be suspended for six weeks starting Monday, April 28th. During this six-week closure, crews will work on emergency construction to stabilize the track.
DEL MAR, Calif. – The North County Transit District has abandoned plans for a rail safety fence along the Del Mar bluffs.
It doesn’t look like the North County Transit District is interested in a trade. However, the agency might be the odd man out in what appears to be a two-way deal.
The North County Transit District has set a date and will move forward with the installation of a safety fence along the Del Mar bluffs.
The final stage of emergency construction on the Del Mar bluffs begins this month.
