TRENTON, N.J. – The New Jersey Department of Transportation is accepting applications through Oct. 10 for $25 million in FY2026 grants for freight rail improvements.
The departments of transportation in Minnesota (MnDOT) and New Jersey (NJDOT) are investing $6.95 million and $27.8 million, respectively, in projects that will improve freight rail infrastructure.
The Middlesex County Improvement Authority has unveiled the initial concept design for the North Brunswick Train Station project, which would add a new station to the Northeast Corridor Line.
