$53MM Design Change Order Awarded to Tutor Perini

LOS ANGELES - Tutor Perini Corporation announced it was awarded a $53 million change order for the City Center Guideway and Stations Project located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
According to the release, the change order allows Tutor Perini to design a segment of rail that will connect Kaka’ako to Ala Moana and extend the current terminus. Additionally, there will be two more stations along this alignment. If Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) secures additional funding and extend the project’s construction to Ala Moana, Perini says the contract value will increase to reflect this.
