Railway Tie Association welcomes new executive director

RTA is excited to announce the hiring of Ashley Goodin as the new Executive Director, effective May 1st. He will be taking over the position, currently held by Jim Gauntt, who will work alongside Ashley in a consulting capacity.

Mr. Goodin most recently served as the Technical Director for the Architectural Woodwork Institute. He began his career in association management with the AWI Quality Certification Program in early 2009 after owning and operating a small construction and millwork company for ten years.

The Goodin family, which includes wife, Meg, and their two sons, Hudson and Hayes, currently live in Americus, Georgia, but are planning to be settled in the Fayette County area by early summer.
