Metro-North Resumes Service After Buckled Girder

News 8 reported Metro North resumed service after a service suspension over the weekend. The New Haven and Harlem Lines experienced an emergency condition on a DOT bridge that led to the suspension of service.
According to Metro-North, the emergency condition was due to a buckled girder on a bridge when maintenance crew were working. Now, the MTA is advising its riders of the split service on both the Harlem and New Haven Lines as crews are working to repair the Bronx River Parkway overpass.
