HONOLULU – HART, Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, has released a video showing a construction update of an overhead guideway.
HART, Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, has released a video showing a construction update. The video below shows the overhead guideway from Makalapa to Lelepaua Stations. Currently, Shimmick/Traylor/Granite Joint-Venture (STG), HART’s contractor, is working on 5.2 miles of elevated guideway and four stations. This is part of HART’s Airport Guideway and Stations (AGS) segment.
HART also stated that Hitachi Rail Honolulu “will continue installing core systems equipment,” and it anticipates “transferring this segment to the Department of Transportation Services (DTS) for passenger service by mid-2025.”
