The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation is inviting members of the construction industry to a Feb. 28 information session at its offices regarding the City Center Guideway & Stations Design-Build Contract from east of Middle Street – Kalihi Transit Center Station to the Civic Center Station.

The hour-long scope of work overview will take place at 1099 Alakea Street, Suite 150, where the HART Project Team will host the event and Q-and-A session from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. The team plans to discuss the upcoming CCGS project, solicit input from the construction industry and answer related questions.

The CCGS project entails the construction of about 3.55 miles of elevated guideway and six stations from east of the Middle Street – Kalihi Transit Center Station to the Civic Center Station, HART said. 

Part 1 of the Request for Proposals is expected to be posted in March of 2023, with Part 2 set to be released immediately after the shortlist period, which is anticipated to take place this summer. HART aims to award the CCGS contract by March of 2024, the agency said.
