HART Starts Next Phase of Second Segment

HONOLULU – HART will begin cleaning and grinding rails between Aloha Stadium Station and Middle Street Station.
On Monday, March 18th, HART began track work along the second segment between Aloha Stadium Station and the future Middle Street Station. According to a report from Hawaii News Now, crews will clean and grind the rails which is a “necessary step” that will take around a week to complete. Any noise or sparks should remain in the area being worked on, according to HART officials. In addition, there is expected to be no impact on Skyline service.
