HDR appointed three to key executive management positions. HDR, Inc. Chairman and CEO Richard R. Bell, who led the company's employee ownership buyback in 1996, is retiring at year-end after 37 years with HDR. Bell will continue to serve on HDR's Board of Directors.
George A. Little succeeded Bell as chairman, CEO and president effective December 13, 2011. Little has been president of HDR Engineering, Inc., the firm’s largest operating company, since 1997 and is vice chair of the company’s board of directors.
Eric Keen will become the next president of HDR Engineering, Inc. Keen has been with HDR since 1993 and has been executive vice president of the transportation business group since 2004, directing more than 2,000 transportation professionals in the engineering company’s largest business group.
Doug Wignall will become the president of HDR Architecture, Inc. Wignall has been with HDR since 1991 and has been a senior vice president leading the architecture company’s healthcare practice.
