RailPros has announced the selection of Ken Koff as CEO, as the company’s current CEO and founder Johnny Johnson moves to the role of executive chairman.

Before the promotion, Koff served as the company’s chief operating officer.

“Ken is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results,” Johnson said. “He is uniquely qualified to drive strategic prioritization and accountability within RailPros, with a focus on operational excellence. I have tremendous confidence in Ken’s ability to align RailPros’ industry-leading operational practices to drive and expand our business.”

Koff joined RailPros three years ago with more than four decades of railroad experience, including extensive railroad management experience in both Class 1 and regional railroads.

During his career, Koff has held various senior level management positions in operations and engineering.

“I am excited to start this new chapter of RailPros’ already successful story,” Koff said. “We have some very exciting times ahead of us and I am honored to lead our company as we continue to execute our Service Excellence commitment to our clients.”

Johnson will continue to drive strategic growth for the company in his new position, RailPros said.

“Ken and I have been working together to ensure a successful transition, and I am confident that under Ken’s leadership and with the strength of our Senior Leadership team, we will take RailPros to the next level yet again,” Johnson added.
