Baltimore subway resumes regular weekend schedule

Written by jrood

The Maryland Transit Administration is advising Metro Subway customers of the completion of recent track maintenance that had affected weekend service since mid-June. Customer wait times for weekend trains have returned to the regular schedule of every 15 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays. Approximately one mile of the main line was single-tracked throughout the four-month long maintenance project that was completed this month. Weekday operation was not impacted.

Metro Subway is a
15.5-mile, 14-station system that operates from the Owings Mills corporate and
shopping complex in Baltimore County, through the heart of Downtown Baltimore’s
business, shopping and sightseeing districts to Johns Hopkins Hospital.
