SacRT Secures $126MM, Advancing Transit Goals

SACRAMENTO – Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) was awarded three grants totaling $25.8 million through the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Round 9 program. Through all of its partnerships and funding, SacRT has secured more than $126 million.

Automated Track Inspection Waiver Is Back

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Last week, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Federal Railroad Administration’s (FRA) Railroad Safety Board has approved a new temporariy waiver allowing U.S. railroads to expand field testing of automated track inspection (ATI) technology and collect crucial data to improve safety.
