Twin Cities & Western Railroad taps Ryberg as new assistant vice president
Written by Kyra Senese, Managing EditorThe Twin Cities & Western Railroad Company (TC&W) has promoted Tina Ryberg to serve as its assistant vice president of administration and operations.
Based at TC&W’s headquarters in Glencoe, Minn., officials said Ryberg manages multiple departments, including transportation and operations, maintenance-of-way, mechanical, safety, accounting, human resources and administration.
Victor Meyers previously managed Ryberg’s new responsibilities when he served as vice president of operations. Meyers departed from TC&W in January of 2018 to serve as president of the Red River Valley & Western Railroad.
“I am fully confident in Tina’s abilities to take on these responsibilities, which will enable me to focus on our organization’s long-term growth opportunities,” said TC&W President & CEO Mark Wegner.
Ryberg launched her 15-year railroad career with TC&W in 2004 and most recently served as TC&W’s administration manager since 2011.
A native of Browerville, Minn., she earned her bachelor of science degree in business administration in 2007 from Crown College, Saint Bonifacius, Minn.
The 229-mile Twin Cities & Western Railroad Company began operations in 1991 between St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minn. and Milbank, S.D. Its Minnesota Prairie Line subsidiary operates 94 miles of line between Norwood and Hanley Falls, Minn.
