SkyTrain, operated by the BC Rapid Transit Company Ltd., is being recognized as ‘Best Organization' at the Fifth Annual Lieutenant Governor's Awards for Public Safety - BC's highest safety honor.

everything we do at SkyTrain," says Doug Kelsey, President and CEO of BC Rapid
Transit Company, which operates SkyTrain’s Expo and Millennium Lines.

commitment to safety is being recognized by such a prestigious award."
Presented by the British
Columbia Safety Authority, the Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Public Safety
honor individuals and organizations that demonstrate leadership, achievement or
innovation in the promotion of public safety in B.C. The awards will be handed
out on November 25, 2009.
SkyTrain has a dedicated
group of four safety professionals who are continuously overseeing and
improving safety for the longest, automated, driverless, light rapid transit
system in the world.
