ATLANTA- The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate a new pedestrian bridge and west plaza at Indian Creek Station.

The ceremony will take place on May 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. According to MARTA, the station is the “easternmost terminus of the Blue Line,” and the station plays a role in connecting those located in eastern DeKalb County to the rest of the system network.

MARTA leadership, construction partners, and local officials will celebrate the project’s completion at this event, which included adding new lighting and signage, landscaping, public artwork, and benches. Additionally, crews worked to deep clean the station, repave the bus loop, and added an operators’ booth and restroom to the platform. Carroll Daniel Construction Company and C.D. Moody Construction Company worked in collaboration to complete the project.
