RailPros hires Bruhnke to newly created VP training position

RailPros has brought on Erika Bruhnke as the company’s vice president of training services.

In her new role, Bruhnke will provide leadership and development for RailPros’ entities, which include Roadway Worker Training and Focal Point, in addition to managing the RailPros Southeast Business Unit, officials said.

Bruhnke also brings experience with Class 1 railroads and has served more than a decade with BNSF.

She has held multiple roles at BNSF, including terminal trainmaster, manager of safety, senior manager of field safety and technical training. Most recently, Bruhnke served as director of safety information and technical training.

In the director position, officials said Bruhnke led the development and implementation of system safety initiatives, safety communications and safety leadership training. She also oversaw the management of public safety and contractor partnerships.

Bruhnke is an alumna of the University of Missouri, where she earned a business degree in marketing.
