STV this week announced it has added two key members to its senior leadership team. Beth Miller has joined STV in the newly created position of vice president of communications, and Athena Ullah has been promoted to chief of staff.

“Beth and Athena bring a new perspective, voice and set of skills to our senior leadership team,” said STV President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Kelly, P.E. “Their appointments reflect some of the key business priorities for STV. Focusing on client relationships, employee engagement and operational efficiency is critical to our success, so I’m excited to welcome them both to these new roles.”

Beth Miller

With more than 20 years of experience in communications and marketing, Miller joins STV from the Real Estate Board of New York where she served as chief communications and marketing officer. Her broad-based communications background includes media relations, crisis management, branding, executive thought leadership and employee engagement. In this newly created role, Miller will report directly to Kelly and will oversee all external and internal communications across all of the organization’s offices nationwide and in Canada. As a member of the senior leadership team, she will assist with developing the company’s new strategic plan. She will also create and oversee the execution of communications plans that will support the organization’s long-term growth strategy. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Athena Ullah

As chief of staff, Ullah plays an integral operational and strategic role for STV, providing direct assistance to the CEO and senior leadership team in the execution of corporate initiatives. Her responsibilities include enriching client relationship management, facilitating post-acquisition integration and advancing environmental and social governance. Before her promotion to chief of staff, Ullah served STV as an operations and asset management consultant. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in operational and financial management in both public and private organizations. Ullah holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
