WATERTOWN, Mass. - VHB has announced two leadership appointments for its Northeast Region, Joe Pizzurro and Nancy Doon. Both will play a role in guiding VHB's strategic initiatives, deepening client connections, and driving forward solutions to make an impact in the region.
Joe Pizzurro has been promoted to Northeast Regional Manager after serving as Managing Director of the New York City office since 2022. VHB says he has led the office through “remarkable growth,” and his work has “strengthened client relationships and delivered exceptional project outcomes.” This includes the MTA Program Management & Design Services Contract as well as healthcare projects and hospitality projects.
Chief Development Officer Mike McArdle said, “Joe’s innovative spirit and collaborative approach make him uniquely suited to lead our regional efforts. . . He’s not just managing growth – he’s shaping what growth means for VHB, our clients, and the communities we serve.”
Nancy Doon will serve as Managing Director of the New York City office after serving as Northeast Environmental Service Leader. She has worked on projects such as the Greater East Midtown Rezoning, the Lower Concourse North Rezoning, and the Creedmoor Redevelopment Mixed-Use Project. VHB says in 2024, Doon was selected as a Stockholder Nominee for VHB’s Board of Directors.
McArdle added, “Nancy has been at the heart of some of our most impactful projects, leading with purpose and empowering her teams. . . Her experience and deep understanding of the NYC landscape will make certain that our office continues to thrive and make a difference throughout the City.”
