A tie gang for Chicago Metra was in action working on the Metra Electric Line. The crews are replacing 10,000 ties between 67th Street and 115th Street. Metro CEO/Executive Director Jim Derwinski was on hand to see the work.
In Toronto, Canada, mobile flash butt welding takes place for streetcar projects scheduled in 2020.
And in Nevada, Iowa, a Loram RG408 gets ready to do some rail grinding.
