Ed. Note: This is not the type of story we typically run on RT&S News. However, route learning systems are widely used in the industry and, of course, are based on the infrastructure of a given railroad. Are stories about route learning systems of interest to you? I had the opportunity observe and test one at the American Short Line & Regional Railroad Association show in New Orleans this week, and was very impressed with it. If you have a chance, please email me at [email protected] to let me know if you find stories of route learning systems of interest. Thanks! DCL
