Richard Carney Returns to RailWorks as EVP Track Branch

NEW YORK CITY - Richard Carney returns to RailWorks as Executive Vice President for Track Branch as of July 6.

Richard Carney returned to RailWorks Monday July 6. In his role as Executive Vice President for Track Branch, he will oversee the company’s regional track operations throughout North America and use his experience to “support strategic growth and operational oversight,” according to the release.

Carney brings back with him more than 35 years of experience. In 2000, Carney joined RailWorks as a Project Manager. In this role, he worked to expand and strengthen track operations. Throughout his time, he advanced through leadership positions and helped to strengthen and develop talent across the company.

RailWorks CEO and President Jim Sabin said, “Richard has been an important part of RailWorks’ story for many years, and we’re excited to welcome him back. . . Over the course of his career, he has helped shape and grow our Track Branch operations while earning the trust and respect of employees and customers alike. His return reinforces our commitment to strong leadership and positions us well for continued growth and success.”
