Global Rail Leaders Forge Strategic Partnership to Drive Progress

Colorado Springs, Colo. –– This week, MxV Rail announced a "New Memorandum of Understanding" with the Centre for Heavy Haul Rail Research and Development organization, which is a nonprofit society operating under the aegis of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited. 

The news release said “The agreement will establish a framework for the organizations to collaborate on combining their technical expertise and resources, enabling them to accelerate progress and amplify their impact together. Both organizations are building on the significant achievements of their teams this year.

“The MxV Rail-CHHRR&D partnership will focus on pioneering advancements across critical areas, including track infrastructure, rolling stock, advanced inspection systems, and operational efficiency. The collaboration is expected to yield new insights, technology, and practices that will enhance safety, reliability, and sustainability across the railways. 

“Key areas identified for joint exploration include machine vision inspection, advanced flaw detection techniques like Eddy Current and Electromagnetic Field Imaging (EMFI), predictive analytics for component life, and the development of high-capacity wagons. The collaboration will also extend to research in noise reduction, bridge monitoring, and the use of modern materials such as composite sleepers, reflecting a comprehensive approach to modernizing rail infrastructure.”
