Enerpac Tool Group Acquires DTA

MILWAUKEE – Enerpac Tool Group Corp. announces it has acquired DTA The Smart Move, S.A. (DTA).
Purchased for €24 million, DTA is a “global leader in the industrial heavy loads transportation industry, designing and manufacturing mobile robotic solutions,” according to the press release. In addition to the €24 million, there is potential f765–80or a three-year earn-out that is tied to the achievement of specific financial objectives.
Enerpac Tool Group’s industrial tools and solutions strategy is advanced through this acquisition in that it adds “automated on-site horizontal movement products to its Heavy Lifting Technology (HLT) portfolio and capitalizes on the trend towards greater automation in manufacturing and other industrial processes.” This acquisition will also add DTA’s products and solutions to Enerpac’s own solutions offerings in a variety of markets including “rail, wind, infrastructure, aerospace, and nuclear.” The release goes on to state that DTA is expected to generate around €20 million in revenue by FY2025.
