Holland L.P. Awarded Second Bronze Medal

CRETE, Ill. - Holland L.P. was awarded a Bronze Medal sustainability rating from EcoVadis for the second year in a row.
EcoVadis is a third-party environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) assessor, according to the press release. This award marks Holland’s second Bronze medal and acts as an indicator of its commitment to sustainability. These Bronze Medals are awarded to the top 35% of companies EcoVadis assesses during the previous year. After assessing companies in environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, EcoVadis awards the Bronze Medals. Each category is updated regularly “to reflect increasing expectations for corporate sustainability.”
Marketing Director and Green Team member Tiffany Wenrich said, “Our second Bronze rating from EcoVadis reflects the progress we continue to make around sustainability.” Wenrich went on to say that “The same software we use to help improve our drivers’ safety and compliance also benefits us by tracking emissions for each unit we operate. . . Technology we’ve developed with industry partners like HAMR frog refurbishment and Short Plug welding have significant inherent sustainability advantages by allowing less rail to be used.” Director of Safety Matthew Santucci added, “Leveraging the technology we already have has been key.”
