Schwihag Selects Kansas Location for New Manufacturing Facility

WINFIELD, Kan. - Schwihag has chosen Winfield as a location to establish a new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility.

Schwihag is Switzerland-based company specializing in fasteners and turnout solution designs. In December, the company reportedly purchased a 30,000-square-foot property at Winfield Industrial Park with a grand opening set for the spring. It will initially hire 15 employees with more anticipated with company growth.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new factory in Winfield, Kansas. This milestone marks a significant step in our commitment to innovation, job creation, and contributing to the local economy,” Marc Raymond, Americas for Schwihag general manager, said in a news release. “With our new facility, we look forward to strengthening our community ties, producing high-quality products, and driving sustainable growth. Together, we’re building a brighter future for the county of Cowley and beyond!”
