LONG BEACH, Calif. - Balfour Beatty US Civil business announced it has hired Steven J. Reiser as Chief Estimator in the West.

Based out of the company’s office in Long Beach, Reiser will “oversee the estimating of projects within rail, highways and bridges sectors in California as well as work alongside and support Balfour Beatty Civil teammates with estimating processes across the country,” according to the press release.

Reiser brings with him over three decades of experience in the heavy civil market sector in California. Steven’s expertise in strategic procurement and estimating will ensure we continue to provide competitive bids while maintaining our commitment to on-time, on-budget project deliveries. In this role, he will both strengthen our valued relationships with longtime industry partners and forge new connections to secure affordable materials pricing—a critical factor in today’s market. As we continue to support essential infrastructure projects throughout the West Coast, Steven’s leadership in estimation and procurement will help us maximize value for our clients and the communities we serve.”
