Amtrak Awarded $126M in Federal Grants

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Amtrak has been awarded nearly $126 million from the Federal Railroad Administration’s Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) competitive grant program. Many Amtrak partners also received funding that will improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of Amtrak service and support the expansion of intercity passenger rail.

Sound Transit Selects Final WSLE Route and Stations

SEATTLE – Sound Transit announced it has selected the route and station locations along the future West Seattle Link Extension (WSLE). With construction set to start in 2027, the project can now move toward the final design phase.

$25MM Awarded to North Berkeley BART Station

SAN FRANCISCO – BART was awarded $25 million from Cycle 7 Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP) for the North Berkeley Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Mobility Enhancements Project.
